On Saturday morning, May 16, 2015 Armed Forces Day members of the West Windsor Township Police Department/West Windsor PBA #271 will be holding our inaugural Competitive 5K Race and One mile Fun Run/Walk. All net proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Join us on such an important occasion to honor our nation’s heroes and to meet some of the staff of the West Windsor Township Police Department. PRESS INFORMATION INCIDENT: 2014-31753 DATE & TIME OCCURRED: 11/22/14 16:16hrs LOCATION OCCURRED: 1201 Old Trenton Road WHO: (ARRESTED, INJURED, DRIVER, VICTIM, OTHER) Victim: Name to be released after notification of next of kin -Victim from Chesterfield, NJ -Approximately 45 years old OFFICER: Ptl. Dan Latham/Detective Kevin Loretucci DETAILS: On the above date and time West Windsor Police Officers were dispatched to the fields of 1201 Old Trenton Road on the report of a hunting accident with an injury. Officers quickly arrived and were directed to the victim who was found in a nearby patch of woods. Medics were also summoned and although life saving attempts were made, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives from the West Windsor Police Investigations Bureau and the Mercer County Homicide Task Force were dispatched to the scene and an investigation ensued.
