This is definately a time for a change in the WWPSA! They have repeatedly hid behind their weak development system for developing talent in boys soccer. We at best produce teams that have lack of discipline and commitment. Also, they cannot tell you what your child needs to develop or lacks skills in. Dont ever challenge the league or they black-ball you and refuse to answer your questions in the hopes you shrink away quietly. I blame whoever is in charge of player development for their lack of training, always telling people their kid is great to continue to be the leader in how many kids are in the soccer program. How can UK Elite continue to train here when their opinions are not respected??? I am told that Baseball here even gives their players an evaluation sheet signed by the trainer.....Seems like we hide behind a league that can do whatever it wants and gets away with it. Very disappointed in the WWPSA! Now we are in Summer Select, another joke, where kids who did not make a team next year are there and practicing hard, and those that are on A teams next year, never show up! It is a shame for the kids that we have no answers for them But hey....the league improved its parent communication and can now tell you via Facebook or Twitter what fields are closed as improved communications but cannot tell you why your son didnt make a team or where they rank in skill level.....Where is the priority? !

Latest on Soccer Summer Select.... half a team pays and never shows up so the kids playing dont have a team for tournaments. Tournaments get cancelled, trainer stops showing up, some money gets refunded, check bounces from refund....you just cant make this stuff up! Maybe Soccer isnt the sport to choose in this town! Hope the committment level in other sports is far better than soccer!

I'm sorry that your son did not make the A team, again. Did you force him to go to all of the practices? Or did you let him skip for his birthday?

He didnt miss a single practice or game.......Oh and just so you know, there is no soccer the week of his birthday.....
And by the way, I didnt say I was mad that he didnt make an "A" team......thats not what this posting is about, but it IS about all those in town who do THINK their child deserves the A team and then doesnt commit to the sport.....seems like you're one of them.....
